Adding a camper battery?
My camper has a red and a white wire terminating at the trailer hitch area. The red goes to the power converter and is connected to the wire labled to charge a battery. Can I connect a battery to these wires? Is there anything else I would need to do?
It sounds to me like your talking about the hook up lights. That plug into your truck. This will allow your turn signals and brake lights to work as your driving down the road. To charge a battery...I'm not sure what it is exactly, I could be of more help if I knew what model your camper is. If you could take a picture, and give us the link, along with the model number. Then we can more likely tell you exactly what you need to know.
