Bike rack installation on Hyundai Sonata?
I have 2002 Hyundai Sonata LX model and wanted to install a hitch mount bike rack. Someone told me that I need to first have a hitch installed. Can someone tell what all is exactly needed to carry my bikes?
A class 2 hitch would be mounted to the frame under the back of the car. A bike rack can be mounted in the Receiver of the hitch and it works very well. I carry 2 bikes on mine, they mount and dismount very easily and the hitch is easy to attach and remove from the hitch when not in use.
Search for the hitch on line and have it installed by a local shop. I had mine installed by a muffler shop.
