Does U-Haul provide hitch-balls with trailer rentals?
I'm renting a 5' x 8' trailer from U-Haul this weekend to tow behind my car. Will U-Haul provide me with a hitch and hitch-ball or do I need to bring my own? If it makes a difference my Ford Explorer has one of the girlie 1 1/4" hitch receivers.
No, unfortunately you have to have your own, but they do offer them for sale. Below is a link to their website. Make sure you have exactly what you need( they will help you) because they will inspect your vehicle before allowing you to leave with their rented trailer, at least the local one here does.
